Very good torque wrench

So far so good. I've only used it a couple of times but it seems like a well made tool. Smooth adjustment and I like the lock knob.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Some drawbacks

Do not buy! good for hand tools

This torque wrench worked at 150 lbs. Not giving the ND click eventually resulted in me severing the arp head stud. I run desperately to save the engine. Absolute joke!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Great Wrench Tool

This is a high quality American made tool that is well worth the price. It's the same tool you would get from a tool cart for about a third of the price. Highly recommended

well made - hand tool

Please select this item by price and company. Well designed product for life. Cheap keys from the car dealership are cheap. It costs more to calibrate a wrench at an auto shop than the wrench itself. I'm glad I brought this rig.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • long delivery time

Uneven ratchet engagement

After one use and return to minimum tension, it will engage in any switch position for a while, then oddly enough work fine. I'm not sure and I've had too much time to go back. Bad and expensive experience.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good price for a great torque wrench

This is clearly a quality torque wrench. Turning the knurled ring to adjust the torque isn't the easiest mechanism I've ever used, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It seems accurate. I didn't rate the accuracy because I don't have an independent way to measure the accuracy of a wrench. It comes with certification. I assume that's true. Easy to read, no complaints.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Frequency

Excellent torque wrench

I am an experienced auto mechanic and have been an authorized dealer of Snap On and Matco tools. I've used the same torque wrench on hundreds of engines for over 35 years and it's time for a new torque wrench. I was going to buy a used Snap On torque wrench, but buying this new calibrated torque wrench from CDI made a lot more sense. I'm currently building a large block 572 for a customer and this tool worked great. I would give 5 stars across the board if the numbers were a little easier to…

  • Sleek design
