I bought this because the price of the citric acid I normally get has gone up. As mentioned in another review, this is not for bath bombs. The grains are huge and my bombs looked grainy even though they are usually smooth. My job was to put it in my blender to make the grains smaller, more work than I'm willing to do. Looks like I'll pay for my original brand in the future.

If you own a pool and value your money, NEVER purchase pool chemicals from a pool supply store. This product effortlessly removes many stains from your pool deck. Like most other pool chemicals, large bags of sodium carbonate (soda ash) to raise pH, large bags of bicarbonate (increases alkalinity), and hydrochloric acid replace all of those expensive "chemicals" found at the pool store. and just what you need. I use it to soften water in dishwashers and washing machines. It is the active ingredient in commercial dishwasher detergents. I fill the dispenser 1/2 full with detergent and 1/2 full with citric acid powder. When washing, you must be careful not to use too much.
