Description of Chakir Turkish Linens Quality Absorbent

HIGH QUALITY TOWELS: These towels are made from 100% ring spun Turkish cotton which allows them to be extremely absorbent, soft and fluffy. The soft touch of these luxurious and remarkably plush towels allows you to feel spa grandeur in the comfort of your own home. The double-stitched hem and natural weave guarantees durability and strength. OUR DIFFERENCE: Our exclusive towels are made from conscientiously harvested long staple Turkish cotton which makes them become softer and fluffier with every wash. We are not a fan of heavy chemicals, so we dye our products in certified and experienced facilities to ensure a quality and safe product is produced. CARE TIPS: Machine washable towels. We recommend washing in cold water before your first use. This allows the cotton fibers to open up and give the towels better absorbency. Tumble dry on low heat or hang them to dry. Please don’t use fabric softener, dry sheets and/or bleach. Chemicals will only reduce the softness of the material.

Definitely not "luxury ". Very average.

To be honest, I thought that was normal. I think they're pretty absorbent, so I'm upvoting that part of the list. But the rest? "Extremely absorbent, soft and fluffy. The soft hand feel of these luxurious and amazingly soft towels allow you to experience the splendor of a spa from the comfort of your own home.” It's all a joke, tb. They are very similar to the Revain Basics towels I have. Just as thin. Not fluffy. They have a wider border around the edge, what can make them more durable? But…

Soft but not absorbent at all

When I was young one of my first jobs was selling towels at Bloomingdale's so I saw all types but these towels surprised me a bit. They are softer than I expected. They are also probably the least absorbent towels I have ever purchased. They don't even wipe the condensation off the mirror after showering, leaving drips all over the surface. You can imagine them lying on the body. It's May as I write this review and I expect I'll be less inclined to ignore the lack of absorbency in the colder…

Superiority! about Towel Sets

I wanted to write an honest review of these towels as I spent a lot of time researching the differences between Turkish and Egyptian cotton and after deciding on Turkish I studied each list, before I decided on Chakir. When the towels arrived they were well packaged. I opened them up and looked for manufacturing defects and found none. I then soak the towels in cold water for 24 hours, wash on cold and use a skin-friendly, colorless and fragrance-free detergent. I dried them for an hour without

NOT absorbent! - Update

UPDATE: After a few weeks of repeated use and washing/drying, towels become more absorbent and no longer smear water on the shower door. The rating has been raised. ORIGINAL: After shoulder replacement surgery that limited my arm's range of motion, I bought these towels for three main reasons: (1) primarily for their water absorbency, (2) their size, which makes drying off my back easier. after showering and (3) its softness. They're exactly the size I need, they're very soft and have a lot of…
