Description of 🔮 Chemex Half Moon Filter - 100 Count

Step 1: Fold the CHEMEX filter in half. Then fold in half again, bringing the two corners together. Place your finger between the 3rd and 4th layer and open into a funnel. Step 2: Place the funnel in the top portion of the CHEMEX coffeemaker, with 3 layers on the groove side. The groove is an air vent (and also the pouring spout) and allows air to escape from the lower portion of the coffeemaker, letting the coffee filter. Step 3: Put coffee in the filter paper cone. Use one heaping tablespoon per cup of coffee (adjust to personal taste if needed after first brew). Refer to brewing instructions for remaining steps. THICKER: 20-30% thicker than the competition, specialty fiber filter design keep bitter elements, oils, and grounds in their place (and out of your cup). Fits CHEMEX Coffeemakers CM-1, CM-1C, CM-1GH.

Thinner than before

Bought these last year and no complaints. Last week I wanted to order more and found the price had gone up a few dollars (it seems to happen every time). When they arrived and I went to use one, I found that they appeared to be thinner than usual. I use them every day so I know the weight when I put them together. The filters in my new box are definitely thinner. I haven't noticed any change in flavor but I have found that they lose their shape much more easily with use. They fold into the sink

Goodbye filters! - Coffee filter

Ignore the "reviews" from people who can't figure out how to fold them or just don't want to fold them blah blah. Thing is, it's easy to fold, does the job perfectly, and makes a fantastic cup of coffee. I finally couldn't justify buying them anymore - they are so expensive! And I used several a day. sooo I finally bought a reusable filter (about $15) that will last for years. The reusable metal…
