I bought this swimsuit at the last second after trying so many others. I'm so glad I did. I didn't know it was up and down either, but I'm glad it is. The material feels comfortable. After trying it on I told my husband that I'm keeping it because I feel comfortable in it both physically and emotionally. The top of the blouse tucks in a bit and helps hide my tummy which is my problem area.

this suit is great if you want to hide your tummy its perfect thickness not hot. holds up well so you don't have to wear straps which is great for tanning and for hosting summer parties but don't want to open yourself up too much. I bought xli wear 14 so it was true to size. Some swimwear need to buy 1-2 sizes. I usually wear XL and it fits great. My friends tell me he's very slim and that's always a plus!

The straps ripped when first put on and just before departure, so there is no more time to order. Contacted the seller with pictures and ran :( I ended up leaving it due to lack of time and taking it to a touch up shop so I spent more money getting it right. Fits as expected - I ordered both large and medium without knowing what would fit best - I'm 5ft 2in and wear about 8-10. I just need a top with no tan lines. Large is best for 5ft 10in, 170lbs, 34g. The top elastic is loose as mentioned but stays in place for tanning. I sewed a few stitches under my armpits to tighten them up, just in case. There is one shelf bra that was too loose for one of mine to hold in place so I sewed it along the bottom band as well and that solved that problem.
