Bought these as they were advertised specifically for this mug. The previous straws I bought didn't work: they were too short or too thin. The straw itself fits perfectly through the hole in the cap. Unfortunately, there is a "tab" on one end of the straw, presumably to prevent it from being pulled out. The protrusion prevents the straw from going through the hole in the top of the mug. You either have to turn it upside down so your tongue is in your mouth while you drink, or you remove the cap

These straws are advertised as Contigo Shake and Go compatible but are not. They have a small rim/cork at the bottom of the straw that prevents a regular cup from being pulled out. However, for cocktail cups, insert the straw from the top so that the rim prevents the straw from going in. You need to remove the lid and insert the straw while holding the auto close latch open. Completely contradicts the purpose of the cup. I tried to return the straws but the seller doesn't offer a refund. Waste…

This product is not what you may think it is. The straws fit into the hole in the lid, but they don't fit. They are smaller than a real Shake and Go straw and can leak if the cup is tilted too far. Also, to use them with a cork you must either remove the lid from the cup or use your fingers to pull the tab and insert a straw from the underside of the lid (not a very hygienic way of using the cup and now my fingers are wet and sticky from the contents on the wet lid that I just shook) or I have…
