The blanket is beautiful. It's perfect for my daughter's king bed. Although I ordered a full/queen size, I received a queen size. I've read other reviews where people complain that the duvet isn't big enough for their beds and I'd say they're right. I measured this queen size on my queen bed and it was too small. I had to order a set of 3 King Size Cozy Line Home Fashions White Scalloped Blantyre Cotton Quilted Quilts to fit the extra deep mattress on this double bed. This meant I had to order a set of pads that might not fit on the duvet. I haven't received them yet. This is a lovely set, well tailored, true white and 100% cotton. Was looking for a set of oversized summer weights that would complement our new Tempur-Pedic bed and frame. The scalloped edges of the bedspreads and slips definitely meet our requirements. Even though it's a little shorter on the sides than I'd like, it looks so nice and light. We joke that in the event of a return, we could never pack it as compactly as it arrived. Fits well in our washing machine despite its size; doesn't dry completely in our dryer, but I just laid it out on three chairs.

I bought a standard king size. My mattress is 15 inches deep and this comforter barely covers the sides of the mattress. I agree it would be better if it was a larger size because most people who buy it buy it as it appears in the promotional image which shows a blanket that appears to be 3/4 the length of the mattress covered , and the base leaves about 1/4 open.
