Excellent bike Best among children's bikes

Great bike! Well built, easy to assemble. I had to call for wheel alignment. I called Diamond back and they helped me right away. I ordered snakeskin bike cushions and they fit perfectly. A good product!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Very strong, sturdy bike. Good materials. Simple design.

The bike has a "classic" shape, including all elements/geometry of a standard BMX bike. Very strong and ready to be abused. Adding a flag makes it much more visible.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Quality

Seems overpriced for what you get

I bought this bike for my 3 year old. Sure he loves it, but it feels like it's overpriced for what you get. Advantages: The support wheels are very heavy. Cons: The bike is very heavy. It's actually heavier than my 21" mountain bike with 26" wheels. Cheap parts (pedals, saddle, rims, grips, etc.). Fairly stiff sprocket (difficult to pedal). In general, I would buy everything for half the price. It will be of no less quality.

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Has quirks

Great quality BMX bike.

This bike is very bright and colorful. Easy to assemble. High quality training wheels. It has minimal spots that will rust if stored outside. The only downside was the "diamondback" pegs I bought for the front that didn't fit, but that may have been a mistake on my part. My son loves this bike. But it's pretty expensive for a kids bike, so I probably wouldn't spend that much unless they're into BMXing or learning.

Pros
  • Junior grips type "mushroom"; Steel Hi-Tension Two-Piece Handlebar
Cons

Good buy: Cycling

We bought this for our (big) 4.5 year old son - he is 110cm tall and we thought we should get an 18 Add inch model. But we are very happy with this bike, 16ft is enough and will last for several years, although it's big, 18 would be unwieldy for it. He drove straight there with no training wheels and now bike hops and up and down the sloping slides with an entrepreneurial spirit that's nice to see. I don't remember my husband complaining too much when putting it together and he hates doingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hi-Ten Remington steel frame and fork
Cons
  • Available in white only

Pretty good bike for my 5 year old.

Put it together today and for the most part it was pretty painless. I had to sharpen the training wheels a bit. The metal was bent and the powder coating was too thick. I could not insert them into the stabilizers according to the instructions. After landing, they glide normally. Terrible instructions! They include every bike they make as a guide. At first I was a little confused by the training wheels as they didn't ride properly so I settled on the owner's manual (which is unusual for me). Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 28 spoke 16" alloy wheels
Cons
  • There are new competitors
