Lightweight and can be used as a ground cover

I bought this specifically for a bike ride and used it as a base for my tent for 3 days of camping in the cold and rain. This prevented groundwater from seeping into the tent and I felt warmer in the tent than without the groundsheet. The extremely thin mylar was strong enough to last 3 nights and folded with my tent, but finally ripped last night. When we tested this blanket as a source of sleep in sub-zero temperatures and snowfall, this blanket did its job. I didn't think it would work because I was very cold at night. But when I woke up and saw ice and snow all around me, I could tell I would be a lot colder if this blanket wasn't doing its job. The quality is not the same anymore

When I first ordered them in June, the ones I received were of decent quality. Not the thickest or strongest, but significantly better than the regular silver ones I've used in the past. However, when I received my second order, which I bought in August, I was very disappointed. While the packaging and overall look are the same, the material is definitely NOT.
