The best compression stockings I have found (and I have tried many types)

I suffer from foot neuropathy and have tried many different types of compression stockings. Some were too difficult to get through. Some of them were too thin and didn't offer enough cushioning. Some weren't high enough, leaving an elastic groove in the calf. These men's compression stockings from Dr. Scholl's Work Compression is the best I've found so far. They're fairly easy to put on and take off, big enough to take my calf almost to my knee, and offer the padding I need. Now I never leave…

I asked my doctor about it and he gave Dr. Scholl's

My feet and ankles swelled up flying so I bought a pair of compression stockings from the drug store which made my feet, ankles and calves sore. So I asked my doctor about it and he recommended Dr. school. These socks are comfortable and keep my feet/ankles from swelling. I love them and wear them all the time now. My mom was also starting to get really swollen feet and ankles so I bought her a pair (Dr. Scholl's Work Compression Socks) and she loved them too. I would (and do) highly recommend…

These two pairs do not seem to have the same compression

I have previously bought 4 more pairs and they are great they have retained their compression properties. Then I bought these other two pairs here and they are all very similar socks, knee length but not compressed. I don't know if they got mixed up with others during production or what, but these two pairs are different and not suitable for compression. They are also slightly longer and easily pulled up over the knee, the first four I bought stop below the knee and cannot be pulled up. So…

Good compression but poor presentation

I bought these gray compression socks to wear with my regular clothes. Nude diabetic socks and sporty neon pop socks don't fit in my closet! The compression effect is ok, not as much as the "medical grade" socks or the sleeve I was sent home in after surgery, but I expect them to provide good support for a long day on my feet. They are thick and warm, ideal for winter. However, they curl up terribly after a single wash. It's embarrassing to wear. Very effective in just one wash. Their undoubted

Works better than expected

I have three pairs of these socks and have swollen ankles due to being prediabetic and taking diuretics. Doesn't roll up your calves like some of the other compression stockings I've used. They're also pretty easy to put on unlike some other socks I've used, but if you need super compression these may not be the socks for you. I say this because I had socks that wouldn't go on because of the high compression. I can also tell that I'm a tall person (330 lbs) which probably has something to do…

Impressive! Excellent quality!

My husband is diabetic. At work, he must wear steel-toed work boots. An operation left him unemployed for several months, and when he came back he developed a bloody rash on his ankles that looked like blisters. I read a lot and decided to try compression stockings. I'm so glad I read the reviews and chose Dr. Schalls have decided. They are very well made, fit my husband's foot size and are easy to put on. They are comfortable and reach mid-calf. The compression is just perfect, not too tight…

dr Men's Compression Socks Scholl's Work

These socks fit me to the knee, just what I needed. They offer great support but are a bit more difficult to manage due to the compression. These socks make me feel a lot more comfortable on my feet all day long and the material feels cool the first time you put them on. I bought the original 15 pairs and then another 10 as spares as I am afraid they will stop making them in the future. We wash and rinse them alone in cold water with mild liquid detergent, then hang to dry. Even with this care,

Virtually no compression

I'm a 6ft 11ft male and weigh about 195 pounds. So I'm not very small, but these socks gave almost no compression. Claiming that they do this is like false advertising. I've been on my feet all day and used other types of compression socks that are actually medical grade compression socks (the kind that give a compression rating in millimeters of mercury, which these don't) and there's a big difference. I used to only have regular Nike socks that were tighter than these and these socks didn't…
