"Impressive Two-Way Radio!

When I tried this product, I was surprised by its performance. The range is incredible even in areas with poor signal strength. The sound quality is also clear and crisp, making it easy to communicate. The design is sleek and durable. However, the price point might not be affordable for everyone. Overall, this is a great investment for anyone in need of reliable two-way radios for their Electronics needs.

Pros
  • Wide frequency range for versatile use
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with other frequency bands

Not tuned to SSB frequencies

This antenna is good but following the instructions I found that it was tuned to the FM portion of both bands. I bought it to use for the side panels. The SWR was sky high on each of them, and after two days of tweaking and tweaking, I finally got the SWR down to an acceptable level.

Pros
  • Max power: 800W
Cons
  • I am concerned about this one

Very low Rx sensitivity at 2M.

It's not possible to tune the SSB part of both bands, just one or the other (and of course this only works for the SSB part of the bands as it is horizontally polarized so I have the FM part of the band not tried band band). I could set a reasonable SWR on one band, but the other would then be >= 3:1. But even when set to the lowest SWR at 2M, the Rx sensitivity was 7-10dB lower than the vanilla dipole compared to using the SDRduo at the same time. I ended up building a dual band dipole…

Pros
  • Half wave dipole, curved square loop, ultra light, high gain, horizontally mounted.
Cons
  • Not sure
