I was skeptical when I first took it out of the box. He looked a bit thin. But as several people have pointed out in their reviews, I put it in the dryer on high for about 10 minutes and it fluffed up instantly! Light enough for summer. I caught a sale so I actually bought 2 of these. If necessary, I can double for the winter. Tip: If you want your queen bed to look luxurious, buy a king size duvet cover and insert!

So far this is a very good blanket. I only had 3 nights. It's warm but light. I live in a hotter climate and may need to use something else in the summer months, but so far I like this one. I washed it on a gentle cycle and dried it with a couple of tennis balls on low heat. It held its shape and didn't roll. I hate it when blankets crumple, it ruins them. This one has held its shape and looks great on my bed.

I have ordered this item twice. The first time I washed it it ripped at the seams and elsewhere and was completely unusable. I was able to exchange it for a new one. The same thing happened with the second one, but this time on the second wash. I also followed the instructions and used a gentle cycle.
