I updated my whole house. A clear improvement!

I upgraded/rewired my whole house. Many smart switches installed; However, the standard "dumb" switches work well and have a comfortable tactile feel with no noise.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Security

where is the light - Wall Plates and Accessories

These are intended to be light switches when the toggle switch is illuminated in the off position. The light is so weak it's useless. The room has to be pitch black to see that, and then it's just a tiny point of light. I was hoping to contact the seller for a solution but don't know how so maybe they will contact me.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Negative impression

Works great: Wall panels and accessories

Gray switches are kinda hard to come by at a reasonable price. I bought these with caution and didn't need that many, but they worked great. The color goes well with brushed stainless steel or aged silver decor. not bad, but now I have 8 switches left. Most likely they will donate them to Habitat for Humanity. It would be better if they were sold in smaller quantities.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

THE PRODUCT WAS ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS

I bought a regular 10 piece Enerlites toggle switch, 1 illuminated Legrand switch and a couple of single pole Leviton L1461-2C switches with 120V lighting lit at all Not. At least the Enerlites rocker switch provided some light. But the Enerlites Tumbler turned out to be a complete failure. My favorite was the Leviton L1461-2C and the prices were about the same.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I will add later

Do not follow the supplied diagram

I use them in 0.5V 30mA DC circuits. I couldn't find any switches of this type rated for millivolts. But I find that typically Chinese made switches (like these) are much more reliable in this application. Is there a wiring diagram included in the package showing that the hot wire connects to the line side of the switch and the neutral wire connects to the load side of the switch? I doubt the switch will survive such a configuration. Apparently no one is looking at the map.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
