The applicators fit the applicator perfectly and are great for applying resin to our floor. We used a new one for each layer, but each was enough for the entire layer even though we covered a large area. I recommend brushing off any loose lint before you start applying poly, but other than that we didn't have any issues with the applicators falling out.

Finished the floor with it - after the first pass there were a lot of threads on the floor which required a lot of cleaning effort. It turns out that you need to rinse it out with paint thinner first. Not sure if this will work as I was too busy mopping the floor and didn't want to do it again. Even if the thinner pre-flush works, who needs the extra expense and mess? Instead I bought a real lambswool applicator which worked great.

This applicator is the best thing after slicing bread. I followed the directions and flushed it with mineral spirits first. (They do not use paint thinner as stated in the previous review). Put on rubber gloves and wring them dry with a paper towel, then leave them in the sun for about 15 minutes before use.
