Faucet 134440 Providence SpotShield Venetian Review

I saw Delta's bronze oil paint at a show at Home Depot. I do not want it. To me it looked black with copper jagged edges. I was really hoping that the Venetian bronze would be closer to what I consider oil rubbed bronze. It's better, but not great. Venetian bronze is more like a smooth brown with many "scratched" areas where copper shows through. I find bronze less orange than copper. Other reviews say the entire stand falls off the wall when you pull towels up to dry. It also breaks the wall. I used closed dowels to attach them to our wall (dryer) and after 2 weeks of use and repeatedly tearing down the wall, the dowels started to pull out of the wall. Some idiot thought they should create a hanger that tightens as the bracket slides down the wall mount. The problem is that the back of the binding isn't flat like a pair of skis like it should be, the firing pin is recessed and so the sharp edges make immediate contact with the wall. The result is that the fitting will stick to the wall before the fitting has moved far enough into a permanent rest position that they will dig into the drywall and scrape off the new paint.
