My little girl loves this but the battery pack is short or something. The light didn't go out after about an hour so I checked. The battery felt very hot and the batteries inside were still hot. I told her the light was broken because I didn't want it to catch fire or the batteries to explode. Which sucks because it's a nice plush but paid almost $30 for something I could have paid $5 for as it doesn't work properly.

My toddler with a sensory disorder started having separation anxiety and sleeping problems after we moved in a few weeks ago. He wouldn't sleep without a light on (although there weren't any problems prior to the move). I was thinking of something with music and lights, but something cooler than a cellphone might work. He loved it immediately and even let me turn off the light while he hypnotized the dog. He even carries it around the house with him. I highly recommend.

My son was so in love when he opened this for Christmas he wanted a puppy that glowed to ward off his 4 year old bad dreams so here we are a little more than a month later the pup is not wet and stays in his bed and apparently he had a short circuit it doesn't light up for more than a few seconds even with 3 rounds of brand new batteries.
