The towels were very soft and fluffy when delivered. However, white is not true white, but ivory. Anyone looking for a really pure white will be disappointed. All four towels felt good after the first wash. After the second wash, one of the towels ended up falling off the tie. I decided to keep the towels even though they weren't exactly the color I wanted, but the quality issue was a deal breaker!
