They fit as expected and I suggested a side to make them feel like a living room. They are lined but not sewn-in briefs like swimming trunks. Comfortable and appears to be well made so far (worn for a month, worn 8-10 times although not yet washed). Shiny mesh but opaque enough not to show through. Side pockets and a strong drawstring waist. My waist is 34/35 and M fits perfectly. They are a bit loose in the leg which is what I need for gym shorts but maybe not if you are not using them for training.
