I felt there was something off from the moment I got this piece of. It was after I verified with my friend that I realized this was really poor quality. It is cheap, heavy and brittle. Also, it is heavy, and adds quite a bit of weight to the screen (goodbye hinge!). And the seller sells this at a significant premium to other similar cases (many of which are better in terms of quality). I would NOT recommend this.

The case looked really nice when it arrived. I loved the color even though I'd have to constantly wipe away fingerprints. I had to give the case 3/5 because after about a month there were countless scratches on the case. Scratches appear even when being very careful and using a soft carrying case.

I've had this case for less than a month and it's already cracked in several places and I've been very careful with it (as it's covering a brand new computer). I ordered this laptop case in the color "Living Coral" and it is not coral at all--it is straight up orange. Just something to keep in mind if aesthetic is important to you.

finger oils and water remove matte coating on this case, almost permanently, had marks on the case and was shipped in a ziplock bag for 20$ i expected better. and the bottom half does not even hold onto the case well, it can easily snap off if held incorrectly while opened. wait for something else

The case is sturdy and has a very good fit. The surface is smooth and seems good for stickers. Although mine did have some scratches and scuffs out of the box.The keyboard cover is molded silicone and fits the keyboard well. It does not need any adhesive to stay in place and does not obstruct any keyboard features.Overall this is a very good case for the price.

Fits well, and it appears to protect well. However, it's a fingerprint magnet, and it's hard to clean. Plain gray is hardly a fashion choice, though, so I am not prioritizing the objection. I'm still giving it 4 stars.

So the case part of this I really like, has good transparency and it’s thin enough, I like that it will protect my MacBook from scratches and why not. The keyboard protector part I like less. It’s still ok but it makes the keys feel crunchy when typing which can get annoying.

Looks great overall. The corners have a tendency to crack and the matte finish picks up fingerprints and oil pretty easily but it’s functional. I’ve got a lot of stickers under the protector and while I don’t think it would safe the laptop from a drop, the cover is definitely prolonging the life of the stickers.

Serenity blue is definitely more opaque and a little bit darker blue than it appears in the product picture. Otherwise good fitting case, it does feel a bit flimsy on some areas and as I’m opening my MacBook.
