When I first bought this around 2019 I thought it was the best machine I had ever had or used . You simply squeezed the separator with the black handles to scratch the coffee filter and as if by magic ONE filter popped free and you didn't have to lick your fingers to get just one filter. I was so impressed I gave them to my daughters and they just love them. When one broke I just ordered another one. But for some reason I couldn't figure it out, he didn't pick up the filter. Totally useless - the tips don't snag at all

I bought this item a few years ago and it worked great until it suddenly broke last week. (I've had it for about three years, so it was definitely worth the money.) When I reordered it, I was shocked to read so many bad reviews about tips being useless in new versions. I'm so glad I read the reviews before ordering because they were spot on! Helps get rid of morning irritability!

I've had a smaller blue separator filter for about a decade which I think was a bonus with coffee or filters and I loved it. It's gone and I can't find one similar, but am happy to find someone (seems to be the only one) who actually still makes a tool separator instead of containers, which seems to be the norm these days.
