This is required to install the Sunpie 7 " LED Light

If you are purchasing a 7" Sunpie LED Headlight for your Harley Davidson you will need this trim ring to complete the installation 2013 Harley Switchback (FLD) --- Can't say for sure on other models, but it makes sense that all Harley installations would require it.

Not required if your bike is a 2019 HD bike

Bought on recommendation of a seller who sold me a defective LED Halo on a Revain... The light was not working properly and this bracket was not needed , because the 7" light fits my original mount perfectly... It looks like a well made mount for those who need to mount a 7" light, but there is no 7" mount already installed from the factory .I give it a low rating.a point because I don't need it and it was recommended to get it but it can't be returned...thank you.

2012 street slides. You will also need an adjusting nut.

Overall, this product is worth the money. The only problem I had was that I couldn't put my trim ring (aka trim ring, aka headlight flap) back on without going to the store and buying a $.70 nut. (Reference Dorman #961-298) Also, as mentioned here, I recommend turning the adjustment screws in a few turns. The rest of the installation is very easy, requiring only a couple of screwdrivers and an Allen key. There is no need to remove the fairing or any other item from your bike. I installed itโ€ฆ

Greatly simplifies the installation of headlights.

This part is required to properly install the Harley Sunpie LED Headlight. After trying to cut the stock bracket/bowl to fit the headlight like some of the other reviewers who posted on the headlight, I gave up and ordered this one. I had to adjust some things. It's okay because you still don't see it. Easy installation. Fits perfectly. I used this on a 2011 Ultra Limited. My bike already had a large, oversized chrome trim ring, but I think it would probably still look good without it. I wish I

A poor fit leaves the Road King's outer bezel ring loose.

2004 Road King. Attaches perfectly to the headlight housing. The light went into the holder normally. I had to spend time adjusting the position of the bottom screw plate to tighten the retaining screw. Once the outer ring of the bezel was loosened. Shown at left is a SunPie mount. You can see the gap. There was a gap of just under 1/4 inch all around. I heard it rattling while driving. Replaced it with a mount bought from a local dealer. Now it fits perfectly.
