I hesitated to buy this checkbook cover. I actually needed 2 and always used the small plastic ones. When I got this one, not only was it big enough for two, it also had room for side-loading checkbooks. It's beautiful and the closure on the outside is really good!

Very nice brown leather cover for a check book. I bought this for my boyfriend because we still have to write checks from time to time and I like to keep things in order. I haven't seen a specific application yet (I came faster than checks!). But it was beautifully packaged and all compartments were labeled with a card or some sort of marker to show where to put cheques, credit cards etc. I would recommend so far.

I've had the same cheap plastic book for over twenty years, the spine is broken. The Marshap leather base exceeded my expectations. Very glad I bought it. I would buy again but I think it will last the rest of my life.

I keep it in my desk drawer because it looks cheap. Not leather on inside..... Its a very stiff fabric and difficult to get ledger in and out.. I'm not sure what skin it is, but it's like no other skin I've ever felt.

I thought I shot it already. There was a sign of bad appearance on red, both were the wrong size and NOT SUITABLE FOR THE STANDARD TEST. These cases are too small.

I bought this case because of the simplicity and the price. But with checks and a ledger, it wouldn't close. Not enough space in the fold for diamond piping. I would return it but liked the look so I cut a quarter inch off the top edge of the pocket which was used for receipts. This allowed them to penetrate deeper and make room for the cover to fold. Works well if not as pretty when the checks are cleared.

Looks nice but has an odor. It was very strong when I opened the package. I put it in my desk and the desk smelled when I opened the top (secretary desk). I left it for a few days and the smell goes away. It's starting to smell like leather. Hopefully the smell will go away completely in a few days.

CHECKBOOK MAIN COVER. IT HAS A GOOD LATCH TO KEEP EVERYTHING INSIDE AS IT SHOULD AND WAS NOT OPENED. SOFT LEATHER, RIGHT SIZE.

This is a beautiful check book cover. It's not super soft leather, but very nice. I write checks in duplicate, and there's a handy insert for that.

This check book cover is very beautiful and charming. There is also a pocket for storing receipts or stamps. There is a place for a pen, but unfortunately there is not enough space after inserting a checkbook. This is a minor inconvenience and I still rate this product very highly.

Firstly, even though it was advertised as tan I would rather call it orange. Doesn't look as good as the one she replaced after serving me more than twenty years. On this copy, the plastic divider between receipts and copies had been torn off. As for longevity remains to be seen. Seems well made for the price. The time will show.

I ordered this check book cover to replace an old vinyl cover. I had previously ordered a Marshall case and was delighted. I thought I would get the exact same cover just in a different color which I wanted to differentiate between the two accounts. Unfortunately, this one was printed with an alligator design, which is disgusting. The quality is similar to my other cover but the motif is not what I wanted.

It was leather stained and boxed before the smell had a chance to dissipate. I put it in the sun and it got a little better, but it still smelled too toxic to use. I couldn't use this product because of the terrible smell.

This is a very nice check book cover. Beautifully made and you can see and feel its quality. Carry on in the same spirit. I bought in June 2021. {(Edit April 2022)}. After being subjected to a lot of abuse, the back pocket, sunset on the dresser and normal wear and tear, a check letter and pen were always kept inside. I thought it would break or wear out. Synthetic imitation leather (imitation leather) and feels like plastic. No leather, let alone "high-end leather". For the price I thought it might be cowhide leather. Colour: Croco Tan Orange and Ocher Yellow. Poor synthetic crocodile leather. Don't waste your money on it.

Real leather. Good quality. My check book and check register match perfectly. This should last a long time, unlike the vinyl sleeves that come canned (which rip almost immediately when folded).

Say real leather but pass the sniff test. It smells like artificial material, that's it. It's also about 3/4 inch larger than checks and registers. It could have been more compact. Beautiful color (burgundy).
