Perfect hitch with weight distribution

ensure perfect trailer and tractor alignment. This was my first experience with a weight distribution hitch and I was blown away by how well it worked.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Great price for this setup.

I use this on my 2010 Ranger pickup and it really helps with towing. The trailer is very stable, does not wobble and is not too loud. Some swing systems seem to groan a lot when turning and such, but this one is very quiet.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Reliability

Weight distribution

Used in our touring hitch. Keeps the trailer level with the pickup and the stabilizer bar keeps the trailer right behind the truck. It also helps reduce bouncing on the bridge piers and helps avoid movement in strong winds. Good product. Also supports truck levels.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Appearance

Works great, good customer service

I was in Idaho when the sway control broke. I called Husky and they sent me a new one. All they asked was for me to take photos and email them to them. The new sway control system was better built than the old one, so I don't expect any more problems. Hitch did a fantastic job. This makes towing easier.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons

Well-built WDH, but with a technical defect.

Hitch installation instructions are minimal but clear. It took quite a long time (several hours) to install and adjust everything to level the trailer. On my first try the ball was too low and I had to disassemble and adjust everything. But once set up, I'll never have to do it again for this trailer. But my biggest gripe is the rivets holding the "latches" for the spring bars. The second time I used the hitch, the rivets fell out and the spring-loaded latches fell away, leaving nothing to hold

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Some bugs

Take your time with the installation

The hitch works exactly as it should. There are no problems. But the installation takes some time because the guide is poorly planned. There is a little chart that tells you how high the ends of the spring bars should be from the pavement. It doesn't tell you how to do it, nor does it link that step to the steps in the build that make it possible. Understand (I figured it out) but it should be clearer. All pre-assembly of the assembly should be done very loosely until you have adjusted the…

  • This is amazing

  • Some little things

excellent quality . Somewhat vague instructions

I bought this WDH to replace an old straight handlebar I inherited which was designed for a heavier RV than my 16ft casita. I was impressed with the build quality right out of the box. Fewer instructions. But maybe that's just me. Everything you need is in the box, including a pre-installed 2" ball. It takes some time to set it up properly, so put it aside for half a day. Browsing through YouTube videos before I started gave me a better idea of what I was dealing with. I suggest you load up…

  • Don't really like it, everything is fine
