Icebreaker Merino Prussian Granite Horizons: Transcending Comfort and Style Review

Socks are advertised as XL but they say M-XL. They are too tight on my calves and also small on my legs. I bought these socks because they say XL. I never fit under "one size fits all". Came right back and only gave one star because I hate wasting time on falsely advertised products.

I LOVE them but for the price (a pair of socks) I was hoping I would LOVE them. I bought them as ski socks but they are not warm enough (and I have good boots). They're well made and feel great, but they have to serve in a different capacity. I have a pair of fleece lined "men's ugg boots" and they work well for her.

Bought these for my husband and he loves them so much he just told me that he wants another pair - which I just told him was ahead and he already has another pair on the way, of course he's happy (he's hard to please, hence 5 stars for Ski + id OTC Icebreaker men's socks) He's wearing Shoes size 11/12 and wears XL Icebreaker socks They are warm, comfortable, wash well and don't smell.

My husband doesn't ski but works outside year round. He always complained that his winter socks were too short or fell off. A few years ago I had the "brilliant" idea of buying wool ski socks instead of work socks. He loves them and will literally not wear any others now. Icebreaker is the best brand we've tried so far. XL fits his height at 13 feet.

It's so comfortable and fits perfectly. Used it while skiing. It doesn't press on my large calves or slide down. It has been through many washes and still looks new. I will buy again.

This is an Icebreaker so should be good see my other reviews of other Icebreaker socks. However, this particular version is on the small side and feels a little tight for those of us with thick calves.

Ski socks couldn't get much better. I use them for cross country skiing and snowboarding. Everything you would expect from high-quality wool socks. They stay on the calves and adapt to the leg in a sporty way. They are very absorbent and don't have an unpleasant odor because the material is antimicrobial and antibacterial. In winter, my feet get cold in sports socks, especially when I wear two layers. A layer of high-quality merino wool is sufficient. In extreme cold, you may need a thicker…

This is the fourth pair I have bought. It's not because they wear out, it's because of how many days I ski in a row and don't like wearing them for more than a few days in a row. don't tell me you didn't do it. :) These socks are very warm, not too thick, really knee high and most importantly they DO NOT slip!
