Exactly as advertised.

Holds air, absorbs well, ties in place of a sleep buckle, easy to adjust. This is a very good and long awaited product. Very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Easy to attach
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Recommended by spine researcher Dr. Stuart McGill. This inflatable chair cushion works great. The only problem here is the straps, they keep slipping no matter how tight I put them on.

Recommended by my chiropractor

It is lightweight and travel friendly, suitable for long haul flights by plane or train. You simply pump air into the device and there is a valve if you overfill it. It's good for back problems like mine.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Some small things

The product drains well for bed pillows and positioning aids.

. As a big supporter of the Stu McGill back protocol, I have great confidence in the product. I think the design is great and gives the lumbar spine the necessary support when sleeping at night. My only issue is that the PropAir deflates overnight after a month of use. The device can now only be used for short trips.

Pros
  • is understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Poor build quality on special medical pads

It worked well in the beginning but those who use it will need it in the long run. I've had light use for about 1 year. Started leaking after a few months. A year later the rubber inlet hose broke. As others have said, if it's $15 you might consider it a one-time use, but at almost $50 you'd expect it to last a long time. I'm 5ft 9in, 175lbs for reference.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Fading

Fixed my back problems

Yes it does have some of the downsides mentioned in the reviews below (e.g. walking around at night) but I gave 5 stars for one important reason: it was the only one what I have tried relieved me of back pain. I've tried gymnastics, wedge sleeping, with pillows and blankets rolled up under my back, sleeping on my side, etc. (outside curvature of the spine), I was able to sleep the whole night. And that's a big, important thing in my life. So yeah, it's not perfect, but I won't argue: any…

  • Hard to say

I woke up and saw it was flat. The manufacturer sent me a replacement with the proviso that I return the leaking one. I personally found it difficult to sleep as I often roll over from my back to my side. One of these sleeping pillows with lumbar support works much better. I use this on my office chair now which doesn't work very well because the tie strap isn't made for that purpose. All in all I spent €40. This company makes the best product called "Lumbal" that I use in my car and it's…

Good idea, bad execution

It's great that you can put an inflatable pillow along the waistline at the bottom. I love that you can inflate the pillow to whatever thickness you want. What's not great is the fact that the rubber tube that inflates the pillow is sewn into the inside of the belt for 25 inches before coming out of the belt and attaching to the inflation bulb. So if you have a normal waist (less than 50 inches) you will have a hard time attaching the pillow to the trash can without bending the rubber tube. It…
