Bought to germinate. There are two layers in one roll. One layer is more than enough bedding for my Wholefoods salad box grower. The cotton moistens the sprout without flooding the seeds. For reference, you need to drill small holes in the lid and bottom of the salad box to add water and vent and to lower the water level in the box.

This is the softest cotton you will ever buy. It's a huge roll but you can cut what you need and it sticks together. This is the only cotton I will ever buy! Love it.

We use this to clean the ears of our boxers while bathing. Large cotton balls are not big enough. With the help of a roller, we can tear off a piece of the right size to wet it with a solution, clean our ears, wipe dry and not look for a dirty ball in our ear. This role lasts a long time.

Thicker cotton than other brands I've ordered online. Another brand seemed to have half a roll of paper before you actually got to the cotton. I use this cotton to cleanse my face with toner at night after removing makeup and before applying a moisturizer. Works much better than cotton balls or powder puffs. I have used rolled cotton for this purpose for many years.
