Excellent quality in irons and steam irons

Every seamstress needs this. The quality is excellent, ironing the trouser edges, sleeves and necklines has never been so easy. The padding is the perfect thickness for a perfect fit, especially when paired with a Tailor Flapper!

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging

Does the job in ironing boards

I finally rolled out this board and used it to iron my husband's pants (he usually irons himself but I did the repairs). I love it! It's a lot nicer than trying to use the tip of an ironing board. Very happy with this purchase. I look forward to ironing the shirt sleeves! Haha I can't tell when I've ever said THAT! :-D

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

The length of the board makes it easier to iron the sleeves.

The board has a comfortable padding with a durable coating. The spacer connecting the top plate to the bottom plate is just enough to fit the sleeve almost completely onto the plate. While not very heavy, it stays in place and doesn't wobble much on my basic ironing board. As I sew a lot, this board is indispensable for perfectly ironed sleeves.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Thoughtlessness

First make a cover for iron and steamer

I would give five stars but the fabric is melting. So I made a suitcase out of an old pair of blue jeans. I thought it was covered in denim. Too bad I just assumed this tool is used with an iron so it can handle it. No, DO NOT iron it, make a case first. Other than that I like it, I can iron the elastic cast much easier.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • High price

The perfect ironing board with sleeves, except for the smell

I've wanted and needed one of these boards for a long time. I chose this one because it comes in two different sizes. I have yet to use the larger size so I left the plastic on. It works great and is perfect for ironing seams when making a wallet. I didn't give 5 stars because of the smell when ironing. It's gotten better, hopefully the smell will go away soon.

This is a great sleeve board

I have had several different sleeve boards over the years and this is by far the best. It has a clean design that lends itself well to whiteboard purposes. so. Nicely done too. I expect to benefit from it for a long time. If I ever replace the fabric myself when it's worn out and flattened out, then this might be the last sleeve board I ever have to buy. . Can't beat it

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Not bad

"Melting Cover " test secret solved

Well I don't understand why some people say their ironing board has melted or smelled. Seemed unlikely with a muslin case. Now I know why: the folks who assembled everything tape the padding to the board, which they wrap completely around the padding so that the tape is just under the thin muslin covering on the padding. People who knew what this product was for and understood the concept of heat transfer would know that it wouldn't take long for an iron to melt the ribbon that's just beneath…
