The screw hole is at a 45 degree angle. You will need to modify heavily to make it work as intended.

We only unpacked it after the return period had expired. This was a big mistake as the processing renders it unusable. The bracket should go right through the glass at a 90 degree angle, but one of the screw holes is at a 45 degree angle, not 90 degrees. I have to pay someone to drill a bigger hole so I can line up the mount and hope they don't break the glass in the process. I can just throw it away and buy it from another supplier.

Very poorly assembled and almost impossible to put together

This shelf seems like a good deal compared to similar items but I think you get what you pay for. After spending quite a bit of time measuring, drilling holes, and preparing to assemble the shelf, I found that one of the mounting screws just wouldn't be tightened, rendering the entire element virtually unusable. Luckily, I have a set of metric taps and dies that I used to fix a damaged screw and complete the installation. So if you're thinking of buying that piece of junk, make sure you have aโ€ฆ

Nice strong bold glass but... use a 15/64 " bit

Looks great and I think it's pretty strong with thick glass. The instructions were a bit small, weird and a bit useless. They showed this panel, which I first interpreted as a piece of wood since it shows it as a 3D piece. There is also no guidance on what size drill bit to use. Eventually, through trial and error, I found that it was a 15/64 inch drill bit. So if the instructions were clearer (and a bit bigger) and if they were the size of a power drill, the product would get 5 starsโ€ฆ

Solid, thick glass and good grip - excellent with a few comments.

Looks great - strong, thick glass - good staples - modern, neat look - and fairly easy to apply. Screws require a 6mm bit (metric? not like the consistency) Drill bit (could be compared to a 16mm bit but took a 6mm bit and it was perfect) Quick Fixes: Glass comes in its own Cardboard supplied in the box - hold it there and poke a pin or marker through the holes in the staple and through the box - voila! Template - machined up to mm. I used a 3/16" bit and reamed it out a bit to make room forโ€ฆ
