Good product - Interior

Bought to replace a broken key case. Please note this is a shell, your "guts" should work, and you should switch to a new shell and cut a new blank to fit the old key. Good product, saved a lot compared to buying a whole new key.

It would probably work, BUT.

After struggling for an hour to install a small metal battery clip, I figured I could just superglue my old key fob on and throw out this new one. That's exactly what I did. would have worked, but the metal battery contact didn't stay where it was supposed to be.

Looks like factory but has imperfections

This key fob is very similar to my original Ford key fob. After some difficulties, the fob finally worked as it should, but I would like to note 2 shortcomings of this fob: 1) the battery does not stay in the battery compartment; It keeps bouncing and falling out when plugged in. The only solution I've found for this is to open the case on the side of the control knob and insert the battery that way when replacing it. 2) A small wishbone shaped battery connector making contact between the…
