These towels felt smooth, soft and fluffy when they arrived but like most things I buy that can be washed, I have I immediately put them in the washing machine. When it came out it was a little flimsy for my liking but absorbent and unfortunately it looks like it will fall apart. Some of the stitching has separated along the length, but you can fix this with firmware on a sewing machine. It doesn't look good, but it can prevent further damage to the towel.
