I love the look and the top half is the same as HD so I didn't even change the top half, the only thing You have to drill through the holes in the tourist backpack are slightly larger

Latches are useless without spacers If the latch locks while driving it's gone Turn on the spacers and charge some more. That would save angry customers and returns.

Had to use old spacers. I just replaced the broken one and adjusted it a few times but it still wouldn't snap into place. Attempted several roads and failed on flat ground. Looks good on the street but doesn't work. I will order HD.

Bought for my 1987 FLHTC. Adjusted but had to drill 1/4" holes in the thick plate that goes between the latches and bags and the backpack. (made easy). There is no need to drill any major holes in the travel backpack or panniers themselves. I'll tell you how they hold up later.

The delivery was very fast. The chrome finish is beautiful. The only downside is that there weren't enough screws to attach both latches and the standard screws have different threads. I really only needed one and now it's good to have a spare. If I ever need to install another, I'll just quickly jump to the Ace hardware. I would buy from this seller again. Thanks

The item is described as black, in the photo are real flat black clasps. The item received is black on the packaging but has a shinier nickel or bronze finish. I won't install them as the bike's color scheme is blue/black, not blue/nickel or bronze. The items appear to be of good quality for what they are

These fasteners were not easy to assemble, they didn't come with a template (should be in the outer box) so I had to make one out of thin cardboard or you can do without this they don't align properly, the screw heads were different sizes, so you'll need two different wrenches (similar to but not like a hex wrench) for installation. They aren't included, but the good side is that the latches are well made.

Although the screws fit into the buckle, they do not fully tighten. You'll either have to buy new bolts, which you don't have to pay for, or add washers to get them to fit properly. I won't be going back because now they want to charge me almost $5 for refills which I find ridiculous. Picture 5 is also incorrect as these are not the screws that you receive with the item. The screws are longer than the originals and all have different screw heads.
