Good for removing excess oil and make-up

I don't like to use cleansing oils every day. To me, they tend to serve a specific function that goes beyond general cleaning. I find that they are usually very good for breaking down all sorts of excess sebum, makeup and other oily residue that is on the face and needs to be removed. Plus, it doesn't dry out the skin at all. As a cleaning oil, it is very oily. There's one thing I still have to get used to considering how much of my life I've spent battling facial fat. Seems counterintuitive…

Works great won't break me

My bottle doesn't leak at all but I agree with the previous review that the bottle should be taped or kept in a closed position to be safer. This substance completely erased makeup from the face, washing it off with water. Every other oil-based cleanser I've tried left a greasy residue on my face that I could still feel after two or more washes with a sudsy cleanser. This emulsifies very easily in water and leaves my face clean even before I use a foam cleanser. It almost completely removed my…

Nourishing, gentle on my sensitive skin

I'm in my late 40's with dry and sensitive skin which is made worse by my work as a swimming instructor and coach. I've found my skin works well with oil cleansers. It's in a plastic bottle with a blue tint, which I like as it's supposed to protect against photodamage. The pump works easily and dispenses a large amount of detergent. The detergent is very watery and the first time I used it in the shower I lost most of the detergent. I've found I like to apply it over the sink at night. It…

Light fragrance, effective make-up remover and cleansing oil

Cleansing for all skin types This is a good all-purpose cleansing oil for make-up removal and also as a waterproof eyeliner. You don't need to add water first as the oil will emulsify this makeup on your face and form a sticky layer that can be easily washed off. It smells slightly like citrus, but very weak. It did NOT leave my face dry after use. and it was nice and clean. - This bottle is thin and tall with a dosing pump on top. Conclusion: I am definitely a fan of this cleansing oil and…

Make-up removal requires some effort

I have been using oil cleanser at night for over a year. With my usual washing routine, this didn't remove any eyeshadow or mascara (regular, non-waterproof) with 3 sprays for my face. I had to go back and use two nozzles to vigorously brush my eye area, after which it came loose. 3 stars = everything ok. Other brands like Enzo Laszlo White Marble and Neogen Dermalogy Real Cica Micellar Cleansing Oil work better.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Frequency
