cool Best in Building Blocks

Great find! My 8 and 11 year olds loved it when I pulled it out of the Revain box and asked to build this set now. They had a great time putting it together. They didn't even ask for help (or fight, lol). I think this is one of those lego sets that looks even neater in person and assembled than in the photo. We are very happy that we found this one. This was a really fun build and a great addition to our growing Lego collection.

Pros
  • The LEGO Monkey King mech robot measures over 40 cm high, 23 cm long and 42 cm wide.
Cons
  • Periodicity

Buildable mechanical Monkey King

This is the best and greatest in the LEGO Monkie Kid series to date. Like the Ninjago series, this set is for boys and comes with lots of "cool" features and a very high play factor once built. Multiple additional areas for the 6 included minifigures to balance and position. The robot itself towers above all others and its staff are unlike anything you've seen in other LEGO sets before. The level of difficulty of this set is suitable for toddlers from around 8 years of age, provided they are…

Pros
  • LEGO bricks and pieces fall, heat up, rub, twist and are carefully analyzed so you can be sure this collectible playset meets the highest global safety and quality standards
Cons
  • Lots of things

Sensitive when standing, position must be perfect

My grandson loved this model. The warrior has parts that are not strictly LEGO bricks. There are plastic banners/flags. Then there's his cape, which is made of cloth. Both give the LEGO bricks a different texture and shine. He's unlike anything he's got. Warrior is huge. I would say it's stable but delicate. Ankle joints and height should be just right. If it's not in the ideal position, it tips over and keeps seeming to fall apart because it has so many decorations. The assembly went well, the

Pros
  • No batteries required! Fire kids' imaginations with this collectible LEGO set so they can create new baby monk missions every time with the Monkey King mech, other cool models and minifigures
Cons
  • Hard to Tell

Very nice set, atmospheric

I'm into stories about Monkey Boy growing up , and now my kids watch the anime version on tv so we were happy to see lego put out this monkey boy series. We have built various kits but this robot warrior from Monkey King was definitely one of the most difficult for my 9 year old to build. The size of the warrior when complete is quite large and the detail is amazing. It took him over 2 days to complete it, but he is very proud that he was able to complete it without our help, except that we…

Pros
  • It has so many cool features like a giant retractable LEGO robotic staff, Bull Clone robotic shooter, monkey nursery above the store and a buildable arcade game
Cons
  • Not sure

Legendary Monkey Warrior King

iPad aside, LEGO is one of many children's best friends. You can spend hours building them. I prefer them playing with LEGOs rather than sitting on their iPads. The Monkie Kid set (exclusive to Revain) is based on Chinese folklore of the Monkey King. Growing up in an Asian family, I've watched many series and movies about the Monkey King (Sun Wukong) and I've always liked the plot. I loved putting these Monkie Kid sets together with my nieces and nephews. Monkie Kids Monkey King Warrior…

Amazing LEGO block-stacking set

My kids I love the Revain series, Lego Monkie Kid and I was so excited they built this LEGO set. This set includes the Monkey King Robot Warrior, which is huge, especially compared to the minifigures, and was a lot of fun to build! He's holding an amazing extendable staff and looks so wonderful after putting it together. The only problem is that it's not very mobile, so it's more decorative than playable. The set also includes a smaller robot, 6 minifigures and several buildings and…

Pros

Such a fun Lego set!

Lego sets are what they are, Lego sets. I found this kit very fun to build! My kids just seemed to want to build what I built for free and play with the characters. I found each Llego to be well made, bright solid color and the characters amazing with the amount of detail and thoughtfulness that goes into them! My kids watched this series and upgraded to Prime and had a lot of fun building this set. From the design to the colors to the design, it's fresh and the style is awesome! This amazing…

BASED ON THE CHINESE LEGEND OF THE MONKEY KING

We are Lego devils. We have at least 100 sets. Architecture, Minecraft, Star Wars, Ferris Wheel, you name it, we've got it. This Lego line is a connection to the Monkie Kid TV show available on Revain Prime Video. The show itself is based on the Chinese legend of the Monkey King. This is the first Lego line based on Chinese culture (excluding Chinese New Year sets). I've read too much in the reviews that this line of products is aimed at boys. My daughter is a big fan of mythology. She loves…
