I liked this lens for the stability it gave my heavy lens. The head gimbal mount is a boon for wildlife photographers, especially if you're driving.

I've used it a few times to photograph wildlife in state parks and it works great! Haven't tried it with the plate and ballhead or gimbal installed yet, but so far it's very stable and comfortable for my 5d4 + 400mm f/2.8. The strap is a nice touch for not throwing it out the window when I spot critters and am about to freak out.

This item was a bit pricey but the quality of the fabric, stitching, zips and handles made it worth it. The non-slip coating on the bottom is very helpful and highly recommended. Water resistance has not been tested, but no complaints. I filled mine with bird sunflower seeds and it works great as they aren't too heavy and fit on items very well. Very happy.

I bought this product to use with a 150-600mm lens when shooting from a car where there is not enough room for a monopod or other stabilization system .
