Very well made bulb socket. The lamp/tube clicks into place with a very positive feeling. The wires are also crushed and pinched with a strong feeling.

I may be missing some necessary parts to install the bulb in this socket. However, I press the pear firmly against the plastic and slide it back. I hear a "click" indicating the pins are set. But if I let go of the bulb in a horizontal position, it just falls out. I have two of these and they both do the same thing.

I have a home made UV lamp. Let's say if I want to mount a lamp on the ceiling, the screw holes on this guy aren't for it. You can mount it on the wall or use a corner mount. In fact, you don't need to securely mount the device. Since my pipe is hot I have to use standard metal clamps to support the pipe.
