Chevy Suburban 5.3L

This is an essential tool for removing a horrible fuel filter from the worst design GM has ever made. Seriously, who the heck puts a fuel filter on a frame neck? GM. This tool works wonders to get there and replace a clogged filter.

Pros
  • Still Happy
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

If you don't have room to disconnect the fuel line then this

The tool worked well for my job. I didn't have room for a regular fuel line disconnect tool in the space I had to work with. A stool is essential when working on new cars or trucks.

Pros
  • is absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Frees hard to reach connectors

I bought this to disconnect the fuel line on a 2007 Nissan Quest. Worked great when none of my other tools [I have 4 other kits] couldn't get into the tight space behind the connector. I like that it's aluminum and not plastic.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Guard

But this is the first!

Finally! I spent $35 for 3 other filter removal tools and struggled for 2 days. There is no right or wrong between a filter and a release. Frustrated, I searched for a better tool and came across this one. Revain delivered it the next day and the filter release was off in 2 minutes! Save yourself the headache and buy this tool first!

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Empty

Works for GM on fuel line disconnect tools

I have a 2002 Suburban Flex Fuel. I used this to remove the old fuel filter on the frame. Worked great. I managed to fit the two pieces into the tight space opposite the filter. I bought another company's style of scissors and they weren't low enough to fit in. I didn't have to use any additional tools, others can be used depending on the situation.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

worked great for 99 commuter fuel pump

bought an old commuter which i was told needed a fuel pump - pump tested was bad and has been replaced - only to find that the Tank was also leaking - as the fuel pump was new I didn't want to damage the pump when removing it so I bought this kit as well as the main kit from LISLE - this was the only kit I used but there are never too many tools - me was never disappointed with instruments from LISLE - I have accumulated quite a few

Pros
  • availability
Cons
  • really don't like it everything is ok
