These kites fly very easily! The best part is that you don't need wooden or plastic poles like other tents. That way you can just fold them up when they're done! My kids are always breaking other kite's poles so I was looking for something easier for them to handle.

Price skeptical, but flies very well and climbs easily even in moderate winds. The second didn't need to be used as the first still works like new after a year of use, about half a dozen times on the beach. Other kids love it when they spot a rainbow octopus in the air!

They are carried by about 15 waxed strings, so if one of the strings gets twisted the kite won't fly. This is a great buy if you want to look like an idiot and your kids will be mad at you and sulking for the rest of the day while other parents who bought actual kites that worked shook their heads in disbelief at your purchase decision.

Unlike other cheap (and some not so cheap) kites we've bought from local shops, these were MUCH better in terms of quality and flyability. We liked them so much that we ordered a second set two weeks after our first purchase when one of the kites got stuck in a tree after a strong gust of wind. We will be using them all spring and summer.

Very happy with these kites! Super easy to get up even in light/absent wind and light enough for my four year old. We used it to fly a kite on the beach. I dropped it in water a few times and the material dried very quickly. Well made and should last a while. Streamers look so pretty in the sky!

I have purchased several very similar squid kites over the years (including another this year from a different seller). This one was just a failure. I thought I was just buying the exact same product I've bought before, but both in this 2 piece set just aren't very well made. I'm by no means a pro kite, but this isn't my *first* rodeo. After several attempts in different conditions with both kites I can honestly say that it would have been easier to get a wet cardigan airborne.

AMAZING. Bigger than I expected (despite the sizes listed) and prettier than I imagined. It's easy enough to tie the rope to the bridle. I took it outside on a slightly windy day, gave it a good shake and all went well. The colorful tail is absolutely adorable and it's impossible not to smile back at this adorable squid face. For the price it's a lot better quality than I expected. One of the kites had some trouble flying straight, but with minor changes in the length of the rope attached to one side, everything seemed to work fine. I knew they worked because the second one flew like a charm. Best of all, after we were done on the beach we gave it to a six year old and he was over the moon.
