As it is this doorstop does not work well. On a slippery floor, the door will push him away. I glued the rubber feet on and now everything works great.

We get a lot of wind when the front and back doors are open, but we couldn't find anything heavy enough in the house to keep the front door from slamming shut when the wind got high. That works great! It's small enough that nobody undresses over it, but heavy enough that the front doesn't slam. The "key" makes it easier to move. Highly recommended.

Although the dimensions and weight are listed I thought it would be a bit bigger and heavier. However, it's still a pretty doorstop. I use it to open the door leading to the garage in my house. But hardly lasts. However, the door is quite heavy. If I wasn't using it as a doorstop it would still be a great decorative piece.

This doorstop makes it easier to get in and out of your home/garage door. The door has spring hinges so it closes automatically which is great but also annoying when I get in and out with grocery bags etc. It is very convenient to keep the door open with this stopper. I can easily move it with my foot [on the uncarpeted floor] so I don't have to bend down.

I just love this doorstop. Much bigger than I expected but it's very high quality, heavy and absolutely beautiful. This is similar to what you would buy at an expensive home furnishing store for a much larger quantity. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My door no longer closes by itself. And I love the key detail on the key itself (which unscrews) AND the ball has a nice metal stamping. NICE!

I am very happy with my purchase (5 pound key). This is a very well made cast iron doorstop. It really is 5 pounds. I bought it to hold open the 36 inch heavy door that leads to our garage. When the weather is nice we leave the rear patio door and this garage door open to allow for good ventilation. Sometimes this created a vacuum and the door slammed shut. close. I think this doorstop will definitely solve that problem while still looking good. Highly recommended!

Do you need a Pella doorstop on a covered patio to allow cats to get in/out without having to open the door. (The gap is too big for most planar wedges.) It's discreet and beautiful enough to exit through the doors. Heavy enough that the door won't blow up in the wind, but light enough to be pushed through with crampons (the base may roll a bit). It's metal, so be careful not to scratch the paint on the door. (Note: If the company can contact me I have an idea for a mod that would be nice too.)

Cute, unique item for the home. I tried a standard doorstop but it doesn't look nice and the gap under my door is too big for the doorstop. I almost bought a heavy rope doorstop for about the same price but I found it and I liked the design much better. I was also afraid that the rope would get dirty. Some have commented that it doesn't weigh enough. I found it good for my door. I placed 4 silicone feet on the bottom to further reduce the chance that it could move. I don't understand the "10"…
