The 42" was too small so I sent it back and received the 44" which is more than too big. I fasten it to the last hole. The sling is so good I'm considering buying the 42" again and using the 44" as a rifle sling and stocking it for the (probably inevitable) day my waist outgrows the 42". Otherwise this is a really great leather belt!

Runs a bit small. I would advise you to order one size larger. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the belt. My belt arrived three days earlier than expected, it's fast delivery! The stitching is precise and tight, the leather is flawless, thick and very durable! I carry a full size Colt 1911 (among other things) and this strap holds them all without sagging or binding. Very comfortable strap! I expect to buy at least one more for myself and no doubt my son will want one too!

Had to return the belt several times to get it the size I wanted - more a problem with my delusional thoughts about how big a belt I need, not a problem with the belt. After a few months of daily use the belt shows all that this is a quality product that seems to last for years. Appearance is subjective, but I like it and have had positive reviews about it from others.
