The conical design of the boxes prevents a double sized radio from fitting properly in the box. When installed, the back of the radio was higher than the box.

Fitting a dual noise under the dash in a classic 1994 Chevy Caprice. Surprisingly, it looks like it should have been there. The owner was also happy with the result.

I used this to install a Kenwood DDX374BT stereo on my school bus. The radio fits perfectly and installation was easy. Good product!

My app was unique in that I installed it on a school bus that I converted into an RV, but I was able to customize it to my app. This was the only solution I could find due to the limited space.

Didn't quite fit the Pioneer receiver, I had to cut the hole a little. The brackets didn't line up with the side of the radio either, so I had to improvise. But overall it was ok for the price and worked well in the end.

Worth the price. I used it to mount my deck on the roof of a food truck and it worked great. However, you get what you pay for. It's a bit cheap "Made in China" quality and it ripped in one place during installation. It will do the job and for the price. Can you really complain?

double din dimensions: 180 mm x 100.3 mm. The hole should be at least this size or slightly larger. The one I received has a 173.6mm x 99.4mm hole. I need to modify it to fit my double din stereo. It seems solid enough, but the flange that attaches it to the dash could have been a bit stronger. If you plan to mount yours on the dash like I did, it's a good idea to install some small fans and maybe paint it a lighter color. Maybe holes will be cut for fans in the next version.
