Good fan. Ease of installation. Love Fan connects to smartphones and devices. Alcove Lighting delivered the fan very quickly. A bit pricey at $300 but hopefully it will last and the warranty seems good.

After a few months of use: • The fan makes an awkward/clunky noise on speed 5 even after professional installation • App control and wifi stopped working which is the main reason for purchase a fan, the remote control works as expected.

This is the fourth Minka-air I've installed over the years (different houses/locations). They have always been very easy to install. This fan was installed at 14 feet. Ceiling with 48" rod. It runs quietly and moves a lot of air! It was a bit difficult to get a firmware update with the downloaded app, but it got the job done. Alexa commands work really well too.

I had a 52" Minka Aire Dyno (AC Mote) in my office. The hum of the motor can be heard at low speed. I just got it through this 60 -"DC motor dyno replaced. It works very quietly, the motor makes no noise at all. Importantly, the funny motor will not work if the blades are not installed. It will work fine with all the weight on the motor.
