Great stuff, I can't install it any easier

The thing is excellent, I can not install it easier, the seller is polite and helpful in setting it up specifically for my car. Make sure you follow the instructions.</p>

Best plug and play remote starter solution

Extremely easy installation. Hooked it up to my 2010 Dodge Charger, programmed it according to the instructions that came with it and it worked right away. No cutting or splicing of wires. Uses the factory remote control. Very happy.

Firmware Firmware for remote starter

hardware installation is very easy. But on my device, after installing the data cable, three LEDs continue to flash when the programming button is pressed. After consultation with Fortin, the firmware had to be updated. This is only possible with the purchase of an additional firmware flash driver.

Cons
  • Not the best

Works great, great service.

I'm good at computers, wiring, electronics and cars. I installed this in January in a one grade driveway. It still only took 10 minutes. This was the second I've bought in two weeks. I put the first one on my wife's car.

Cons
  • Update Availability

What really... on remote starters

The box was opened and parts fell on the floor. Maybe it was a comeback? Who wouldn't send something in at least one bag? After finding all the details of the washing machine etc, I can't determine the actual direction except by browsing the website. I didn't even have time to open the machine to try to install it. No hint - as long as it's fake.

Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Just installed it in our 2009 van. It was VERY easy to install (I think I've only 4 screws removed over time) the entire installation) I used the seller's online video to figure out how to install this. I believe they used a 2011 caravan but I found the 2009 model caravan was slightly different than what was shown in the video for our van and all the connections in the wiring harness provided Everything seems to be working well so far, but I haven't tested the engine start timeout yet. 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 3.8L

I ended up cleaning up the wiring harness a bit, but that's only because I'm picky about my wiring. The installation took about 2 hours due to access issues. Our directions aren't very clear, but I figured it out in the end. It's truly a plug and play remote boot. If you don't need parking lights, you'll need to run a cable for them.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Something different

For 2008-2010 model install

For 2008/2010 models. You need to remove the screws from the top cover of the IP and also remove the key frame. Need extra space by pulling the plate down to remove the connector from the bottom of the key component. I couldn't find any video about it at all. 2011 and newer is a completely different key drum setup and the lack of information makes all the difference. There are 2 screws on the bottom edge and 1 in the clamping area of the side door. Removing them changes everything. And the site

When you're on the fence.

After much thought and deliberation from the many options available (including remote start and install at the best price that would cost over $300) I decided to purchase this remote start primarily as a gift for my wife. I couldn't be happier. While the installation instructions and schematics got me thinking because they seemed complicated (I'm not mechanically inclined), as a standalone install it was very easy and took about 10 minutes. I didn't have to connect any extra wires like parking…
