This bookcase looks great! It was easy to assemble alone in one evening. The shelf is sturdy, although its height and small legs make wall mounting (with the included hardware) a good idea if you have kids or pets who might knock it over. That being said, at this price point, you could do worse. What really annoys me is that the photos of the shelves in this description are fake. They actually look like the advertised wood, when in fact they feel and look like cheap laminated chipboard. The low rating I've given this item is more to cheat and compensate for the bewildering good reviews. Also, I don't think the shelves will hold the advertised weight. It's been almost a month. It took a little time and effort to set up: about an hour, maybe more, alone.
