This is a high quality, commercial grade item. Buying from Revain is much cheaper than buying from a professional plumbing company.

Worked fine for a few months but then the shower head started leaking (between the halves of the plastic shower head itself, not around any fittings). The valve itself recently failed. I would love to buy a Delta but Moen's price was too high to resist. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for.

Looks good although the portable looks lightweight but I think it's ok because it's for my kid's bathroom. I hope it survives the abuse it claims. The temperature control is excellent. My boys know exactly what position to turn into. The sliding bar is heavy and the positioning of the shower head is easy, it can be adjusted up and down, left or right. The only thing is that it already seems to be discoloring.

I installed this unit after spending many hours looking for a good value shower set. So far I've been absolutely happy with it. I had to solder the intake valve as usual, but it turned out to be not that difficult. You must remove the main cartridge and the two small check valves that come with this unit when soldering (to avoid heat damage to the plastic and rubber components).
