Lets sound through

My desktop has a handy audio out at the top, but it doesn't work. I have this to move the output from the back to a more convenient location. He just does it well. I don't care about sound quality, so no comment. Sounds definitely sound like sounds through this cable.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Slight change

That does not work. Don't waste money.

I bought several cables for different computer headsets but none of them worked. They all failed and I didn't realize it until the return window closed so I wasted my money on this junk! Don't hesitate to buy this junk.

Pros
  • Something about
Cons
  • For the old

Proper extension.

I bought this to extend my 6ft headphone cable for guitar practice. My wife loves rearranging the living room and my mini katana ended up being about 8 fr too far to wear headphones and practice. I bought it and the problem was solved immediately. I was expecting a drop in sound quality but other than that I had no issues with this cable. I would buy again if I needed another one.

Pros
  • Even old people can understand
Cons
  • Some bugs

No longer works.

Worked fine at first but stopped working after a few weeks. If I play with the cable a bit it will work for a while. But it's getting worse, so I guess I need a new cable. I learn the hard way, probably shouldn't have ordered such a long cable. Next time I will order shorter and maybe try someone else. While I enjoy running and have a long cord, length seems to be a big issue.

  • Looks good

As others have said

As others have said here they make a lot of noise. I tried using them to increase the number of PC speaker ports on my desk (large desk and 32" monitor). I moved them away from power cords but still picked up noise/interference. I have NEVER had a problem with Monoprice. product so it will definitely never put me off buying from them again. I just wanted to warn anyone thinking of using them to get the shielded version that Monoprice is offering. Monoprice's shielded versions are gold plated so

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Poorly shielded, receives radio stations

Used between flat screen TV and external speaker amplifier. Need a length of about 35 feet so walk 50 feet. It seems to be of good quality but local radio stations get caught on such a long antenna length. You must turn down the volume of the external speaker amplifier when not in use.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Expensive

Does what it's supposed to do

Cable does what it's supposed to do at an affordable price. I didn't notice any deterioration in the sound quality. However, the connector diameter seems to be a bit smaller than usual. As long as the cable hasn't fallen out of the socket, it doesn't go into the socket with a binding click. I would rate it 4.5 stars

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Hard to say

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Great long cheap cable.

Good cable, the ends are fine, the plugs are not hanging out. The connectors provide a good, strong and secure connection and the cable is easy to work with, not too stiff and not too flexible. The cable jacket may be a little larger in diameter than most I've worked with, but while it's nice and flexible, it's still easy to route and stuff into cracks, board gaps, and the like.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Quality

. yesterday and I have to say I'm not at all happy with it

I received this extension cord yesterday and I have to say I'm not at all happy with it. I knew there would be some sound degradation, but this is terrible. The male end of the connector appears to be slightly undersized. When I plugged it into the headphone jack, it seemed loose. I connected the headphones to the cable and noticed that I had to turn the volume up almost to the max and the sound was muffled. I thought that was weird, so I unplugged the cable and plugged in the headphones…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • unreliable
