Galvanized metal should last a long time (more than a decade). These spikes were rusty below the soil within the first two months of use. I moved the landscaping cloth and had to pull up the spikes or staples as this seller calls them. If there was any zinc on this metal which is what we are being led to believe it must have been a whisper. Terribly misleading description.

I needed some sturdy stakes to hold down new Christmas decorations. These worked perfectly. They were easy to push into the ground and held tight. Decorations are secure. Very happy with these stakes.

I needed these to stake down several patches of sod in my yard. Without them, animals were pulling up the edges repeatedly, so the sod would not stay down. These stakes solved the problem, and were affordable and easy to use.

In southern CA we have clay, which is hard to work with in the garden unless we've had a lot of rain. These stakes work great and move small stones as you hammer them in. We used them on yard cloth and outdoor carpeting in places we walk often.

I like them for their quality and value. You cannot find a product like this in any home improvement store at this quality for the price.

These staples are sturdy and well-made. good value, worked great. The price is also in line with what you get. I would definitely recommend them.

These are so easy to use. Very strong, I tapped them into some pretty solid ground and they did not bend. Easy to pull if necessary. Literally seem to disappear from view after installed, allowing for visually pleasing landscaping

For the price they do what needs to be done the only bad thing I have to say about them is that they rust very very quickly just alittle moisture on them and the rust out but other then that for the price I would recommend.

Seems silly to write a review for this product, but here goes. They're metal. They pound into the ground easily. So far, they seem to be working since neither my pony nor my chickens have managed to dislodge them from the bottom edge of the hardware cloth that they're holding down.

I used these on the bottom or neighbors chain link fence to keep his 5 dogs out of my yard. They are long enough to keep dogs from digging out under chain link fence. Good price.

I purchased these black staples for a garden project I’m working on, these black staples are going to be used to hold down weed barrier fabric to prevent weeds from growing in a garden in my yard. I like these better for this application because they blend in better with the black fabric and black rocks I’ll be putting on top. The staples have pointy ends which help drive them through the fabric and into the dirt pretty easily.

Bought these to layer various shrubs. They are impressively strong, even holds down Boxwood!. They are robust, and will likely survive to be reused.
