Illuminated switch works great for controls and indicators

I used this switch to control the USB ports on my homemade battery box. Since the batteries are 12 volts I didn't want the converter to be on all the time so a switch was added. It connects easily and NTE has instructions on their website if you need more information. I am building a second battery box for a friend and will be using this switch for the USB ports on their box as well.

Big Little Switch

I used this switch to control the trailer lights on my cargo trailer. Whenever the lights were connected to the wiring harness, they would come on regardless of whether the parking lights were on or not. Checked for grounding issues and other suggestions but found that this is how the light control works. Turn on this switch so I can just turn the light on manually and not worry about running out of battery. Works great. The LED is bright but not obtrusive.

Easy to connect correctly

I used it to connect a 12V battery box with USB ports to charge mobile phones during a power outage. The 12 volt supply (plus from the battery) goes to terminal 1, the outer silver terminal. The 12V power output (positive) to an accessory, load, fuse block or busbar is applied to pin 2, the center silver terminal. Ground (negative) goes to terminal 3, the outer brass terminal. When terminal 3 is connected to ground, the blue "Power On" LED lights up. You don't need to connect pin 3 to ground if
