Brass Quality: Sanitary

I can't imagine using a plastic of that strength in a shower tray. Easy to install, no leaks when installed according to the instructions.

Includes gasket

The description says the gasket is NOT included (so I ordered separately) but the gasket is included. Could have saved $6 more if the description was correct. :-(

Durable and easy to install.

We removed our pipe and installed a shower. I bought a preformed base that it actually attaches to. Run everything dry before cutting the PVC pipe to length. Doesn't run and looks great!

Top cap too tight

I like that it's solid brass but the stainless steel top plate was too tight to loosen. I actually had minor cuts while holding the threaded brass with my left hand and trying to loosen the panel with my other hand. There are four claws gripping the inside of the brass body that are too tight. There is no video guide.

I particularly like the tight feel of the compression nut threads compared to the .

I purchased a US standard neo corner shower tray with glass walls, but the tray came with a plastic version of the shower tray. Since these things had to be imported (we live in Japan) And - our house is a slab with 20cm "crawl space" I didn't want to risk anything going wrong with the plastic version so I ordered this brass separately. I especially like the feel that the compression nut threads are stronger than the plastic ones. Revain's price was reasonable; the cost of delivery - nearlyโ€ฆ
