We bought 12 of these for our summer pool. Washed and dried, on gentle cycle, according to instructions, but threads are sticking out everywhere, on all 12 towels. Some towels have long, ragged edges around the edges due to poor stitching. And after two washes and a few uses at the pool, all the towels were faded. Considering the cost of these towels I would not recommend them.

I am writing another review because after buying it as a gift for Father's Day we found a huge snag in the line. I left a 1 star review hoping Laguna would contact me but they ignored me. I went straight to them because it's an expensive towel... I haven't heard from them and it's been weeks. LAGUNA'S FOCUS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I recommend you shop elsewhere. I will find the best towel and customer service.

I've read negative reviews that describe quality/durability issues but there were enough positive reviews to convince me to take a chance. I washed the towel alone, on gentle cycle and dry mode. After the first wash, numerous thread loops emerged and the selvage seams diverged. It's unfortunate; This is a big and beautiful towel but the quality doesn't match the price. The beach towels I replace are half the price and lasted five years before showing the same wear and tear.

I bought two of these beach towels and I think they are either defective or just bad quality. I washed them in the washing machine on the gentle cycle with cold water and then tumble dried them on the gentle cycle. Unfortunately, threads came off after washing.
