PAVILIA Chenille Blanket Decorative Lightweight Bedding Review

I love the color, look and feel of this blanket for my little sleeper -- BUT, don't do what I did and wash not her. I didn't like the smell when it arrived so I washed it and the fringes got tangled and I had to cut it off over the knot. The only way to wash this soft and beautiful blanket is by hand and then dry in the sun. I will keep this one, buy another one and try again when I get back to the desert where the sun helps a lot to dry things outside.

Such a mess. Put it in the washing machine on a delicate setting with only cold water and that's what happened. It's mostly dry now, but lying down didn't solve the problem of it being completely stretched and frayed. Soft to the touch and good looking... but I wanted it to be his own and the lint left in the car was outrageous. Dryer, oh my god. Just a handful of fluffy gray piles. I was very happy that this blanket arrived. It's much darker than the traditional red bison plaid colorway, making it look more like maroon. I should have read the other reviews. I bought a similar chenille cape from Revain a few years ago. The instructions say to hand wash. Washed cold on gentle cycle and air dried. I had it for a few years and it was great. Among this list, I recently bought a blue comforter. The instructions were the same and I went through the same washing and drying process.
